SI2 PI Workshop Participant Guidelines

User Driven Agenda

The format for this meeting is a modified un-conference style meeting. The objective is to reduce the amount of time passively listening and to maximize cross-project interactions that support furthering the SI2 program and individual project goals. Thus, you will be expected to contribute to the agenda and success of the meeting. This can be accomplished by creating and leading sessions, or by being an active participant in a session of interest. Both the organizers and the participants will have to work together to ensure a constructive outcome. Sharing information before, during and after the workshop is critical.

You will have great flexibility in arranging discussion topics prior-to and during the event, and there will be many topics to choose from!  You may propose your own SI2-related discussion topics here and/or indicate your interest in 3-5 breakout session topics that interest you. During the event, you will choose your topics of interest on-the-fly during the "Agenda Scrum", attend one of the chosen "Breakout sessions", and share what happened during the "Breakout session reports".

This format will allow you as a participant to define and select among the topics that really interest you, and experience a more interactive format during the breakout sessions with other similarly interested participants rather than attending canned presentations that may not have as much relevance.

You and all participants are in control of the success of the event. It is up to you as a participant to propose and define topics that will be of interest to others, lead a session discussion on your proposed topic, and/or attend and contribute actively to proposed sessions that are of interest to you.  Have a topic of interest you would like to see? Propose it here.
